EvoIsland Design Lab focuses on the deep integration of computational design optimization and architectural design creation. We focus on a central question: How to balance environmental performance and design creativity in sustainable architectural design? In response to the limitations of limited solution diversity and insufficient exploration in current generative methods, we pursue a path driven by algorithms, performance orientation, and human-machine collaboration, with key emphases on building massing generation, façade design optimization, and photovoltaic system integration.

进化岛设计研究室专注计算性设计优化与建筑方案创作的深度融合。我们聚焦于在可持续建筑设计中,如何平衡环境性能与设计创意? 针对当前生成方案单一、探索性不足的局限,我们以算法驱动、性能导向与人机协同为路径,重点突破建筑体量生成、表皮优化及光伏系统整合等关键环节。

Ph.D. in Architecture from Nanjing University, Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Ningbo University. Former Visiting Research Scholar in Urban Design at Parsons School of Design. Research areas include sustainable architectural design, human-AI collaborative design, and socio-ecological resilience of human settlements. Has teaching experience in design research at multiple universities in China and abroad.
南京大学建筑学博士、宁波大学建筑系讲师,曾任帕森斯设计学院城市设计访问研究学者。研究领域包括可持续建筑设计、人机协同设计、人居环境社会生态韧性。具有中外多所大学设计研究教学经验。
